The Sommelier Series from Tokiwa Imports (now High Road Spirits) is a collaborative project between Eigashima Distillery (known as White Oak Distillery in Japan) and Master Sommelier Ken Fredrickson. The second edition in the Sommelier series is an Akashi Single Malt aged 4 years in ex-bourbon barrels before rested for an additional 18 months in Pinot Noir Sirgue French oak casks sourced from esteemed Brewer Clifton in Lompoc, California. It was released in fall of 2019.
